Wallingford Farmhouse
Oxfordshire
PROJECT TYPE: Principal Contractor
ARCHITECTURE: Barr Group were commissioned to convert the drawings of Nichols Brown Webber Architects into reality, a truly collaborative project.
INTERIOR DESIGN: The inspiration for the entire project came from the design minds of our clients David Flint Wood and India Hicks.
OVERVIEW: Starting with the demolition of two redundant farm workers cottages, the works scope was the ‘from-scratch’ build of a stunning new family country home, with adjacent garaging and annexe.
From first spade in the ground to last roof tile and everything in between, Barr Build, Barr Kitchens and Barr Joinery worked tirelessly in their quest for perfection. Everything from windows and door sets, kitchen and boot room, entranceways and architraves, were made-to-measure. The team worked under contract administrators Herrington and Associates to complete the build in under twelve months.
