OVERVIEW: Green Acres is a carefully considered, sustainable development, executed on behalf of a longstanding Barr Group client. The semi-rural site, previously home to a derelict barn and bungalow, was deemed suitable for four replacement barn-style properties, which would form a bridge between village life and the country fields beyond.

Involved from an early stage, and working to the architectural design of Tom Gristwood Architects, the Barr Build team were delighted to be able to take the project from planning permission through to completion. The project team worked collaboratively to ensure each dwelling was built to a robustly sustainable specification.

The new residences are built from sustainably-sourced materials, utilise air-source heat pumps and come complete with electric charging points. Bat and bird boxes ensure continued housing for our flying friends!
