Honeysuckle & Hilda
Oxfordshire
PROJECT TYPE: Commercial Build
ARCHITECTURE: Initial project drawings were by architect Peter Lee.
INTERIOR DESIGN: All interior design, finishes and fittings were client-led.
OVERVIEW: The remodelling of an existing garage to create this floristry studio formed part of a larger property renovation and extension.
The aim of this niche project was to maximise space and light by creating additional apertures and raising the ceiling height. Structural steelworks allowed for a vaulted ceiling, softened by timber clad finish and traditional joinery fittings.
A functional 'concrete' microscreed flooring, made to measure storage and facilities for preserving precious floral matter were all part of the considered design. Sustainable build and materials reuse were prioritised throughout.
