PROJECT TYPE: Principal Contractor

ARCHITECTURE: Azman Architects

PRESS: Architectural Digest

OVERVIEW: Working alongside the talented team at Peter Mikic Interiors, landscape designers Tom Stuart-Smith and Azman Architects, Barr Group Ltd. were incredibly privileged to bring this design-led utopia to life.

This residence was built in modular form; dry stone walls linking within and between each section. A material composition of Hertfordshire sandstone, accented with bronzed copper detailing, forms the outer shell of the main property, with understated timber cladding wrapping the multiple courtyard structures. Inside, straight-grain polished oak panels, hand-picked bold marble slabs and bespoke polished brass fixtures feature amongst an extraordinary collection of bespoke finishes.

As well as varied living spaces and guest accommodation, the residence includes a home theatre, leisure suite, studio annex and treatment rooms. A quarter of the 1,000m2 low-rise residence is below ground, allowing the structure to blend effortlessly into its surroundings.
